My 2004 Chevy Tahoe has the "706" casting heads made by the company Castech. A number of these heads have experienced cracking in the area of the valve guides due to an issue in the way they were cast at the foundry. The result is coolant mixing with the oil. I noticed coolant disappearing, couldn't see it leaking anywhere. Upon removal of the valve covers...I found it. I smashed up 28g of these, mixed it in fresh coolant, and added it into the upper radiator hose. No coolant loss in ~2000 miles

These were recommended by my Volvo mechanic. They worked in the past. However, currently I may have a leak in my heater core that is not fixable with the tablets. I’m not sure. I’m still watching the coolant level. He never recommends something that doesn’t work. He had used them in his cars. Thanks

I’ve used these in the past and it does work as a temporary fix with pin hole leaks on the radiator and heater core.

I changed the coolant but failed to recognize the need for these tablets. Needless to say my engine was leaking coolant in a few spots and was overheating. These necessary tablets restored everything. Do not ignore the note on top of the radiator. Buy these!

I've been using these for years. If these cooling system tabs won't help your cooling system stop weeping, then you're ready for head gaskets. These things are great.

this very cheap and all natural wheat chaff will not clog you radiator and works. It will even do head leaks as long as the coolant is leaking in, not combustion coming out. put several in the radiator, not expansion tank.
