This Samsung 860 EVO has great speed improvement over the traditional hard disk when booting Windows 10. However, when copying a large number of small files, its speed drop can be drastic, most likely because of the CRC mechanism. Reliability is good so far, but regular data backup is a must as a sudden failure will be disastrous. Overall, a decent value if you can pick it up for twice the price of traditional hard drive.
