When the original Brazilian Blowout formula was available it was amazing. But the formaldehyde-free version doesn't last at all. This solution gives a great initial blowout and in my opinion works just as good as the original Brazilian Blowout formula - only without such a harsh fumes. There are some fumes, but nothing like the formaldehyde formula. At at $45 for 8 treatments, this is a complete steal. I used Neutrogena Anti‑Residue Shampoo 2x before applying the solution, and a deep conditioning mask after I was done. I did the treatment 3 days after I had my hair professionally colored and it worked great. Overall - this product is A+!
