Now that I'm using the product, I'm not totally satisfied because I used to have a brand new one years ago and know how it should work. I'm having problems with certain disks which has caused me not to be able to make certain shaped cookies. Other than that, I am able to produce over 100 cookies everytime I make up a batch.

This runs on 4 batteries and using the spritz recipe and new batteries, the motor labored and it sometimes had enough power to get a cookie out but ended up using my electric old vintage ware ever super shooter to finish. When pressing the power there was no or little power to move the auger. I checked the batteries - with no dough in the barrel the motor was not powerfull and definitely not powerful enough to press the dough. The product was in perfect condition. Not sure if there is a trouble shoot for this - didnt't seen anything in the manual.

This is my second one in 12 years, love it but I don't use it except a couple times a year. If you only use it like I do, remove the batteries if not going to use for a while, I didn't and that's why I had to replace it.

#1- 4 batteries had been left in the motor assembly and had corroded the entire motor- had throw in trash #2- the main gear that enables the press to work was missing #3- the barrel connector was missing etc There were 2 items in the box The ruined motor housing and the barrel The only useable item is the barrel I paid for just a barrel
