The Hackzall is a great tool, beside my M18 impact driver it’s the second most used tool on my bench. I’ve cut tree limbs 4-6 inches in diameter with no problem just keep a second battery handy if your cutting a lot of big stuff. Cuts metal and lumber like it should. Makes quick work of anything I throw at it.

Incredible power in a compact tool. I used this bare tool with my XC battery and cut exhaust piping, then switched over to a pruning blade and cut through a couple of Aspen trees 7-8 inches in diameter with relative ease. Made easy work of smaller branches. Highly recommended.

1st of all the design of this Sawzall is better than the D handle design where your hand is behind the tool. It allows you to work in tighter spaces as well as apply downward force for a longer period of time. It has the same amount of power as a plugin variable speed Sawzall and a really nice twist blade lock

Awsome saw. Milwaukee makes a good product. Battery lasts in it for quite a few cuts. Unlike my porta cable that last hardly 3 cuts of anything till the battery dies. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a good heavy duty cordless sawzall.

This thing is just a beast in a compact form. This is by far one of the most useful tools to use for handyman, plumbing, electrician and network cabling and infrastructure purposes. I have used this for cutting conduit, added a pruning blade to cut tree branches and cut EMT pipe. All of this is just a breeze for the tool. It can handle 2x4´s like butter and is great for most of the materials you would nominally need to cut in a tight spot. It is not designed for heavy steel, but with the right blade, you can manage this too as long as you are patient and have the piece well supported. Battery life with the 5 Ah battery is great and the balance of this tool is phenomenal. Cutting free hand without some sort of vice or clamping jig can be tough since this tool is very powerful and makes the material vibrate if not held well, however, this was not any kind of limitation for my uses. If I had anything partially negative to say about it, it is that it is a bit wobbly when standing up on it´s battery, so it would be best to lay it on it´s side. This isn´t really a game changer for me but in some scenarios it is nice to have a tool stand up securely when not in use. Read full review

Have used this tool multiple times in the short week I've had it so far. Looking forward to using it for many more projects to come. Hackzall is very comfortable to use one handed as intended. Well balanced and lots of power.

Battery last longer and it truelly does not vibrate and shake your arm off like the normal style. Yes it looks funny, but totally worth it!

Exactly what I wanted it doesn’t work so it doesn’t get anything done for me it has no value to me and just sits on the shelf doing nothing but collecting dust and it makes people think I actually work hard enough because I own broken tools thanks (Insert eBay name here) But nah Milwaukee warranty awesome

VERY VERY HANDY and easy to use, powerful saw, with a good blade it is easy to use and cuts great, very useful when using with one hand and compact enough to get into tight corners. Great saw from Milwaukee like most of the Milwaukee tools.
