I have owned a couple different Dyson vacuums over the last 2 decades & a couple other kinds of vacuums before that. None of the others compared to my Dyson’s. When I got the Gen5Detect, I ecstatic. I was so excited to see how they could improve on the greatest vacuum on the market. They did not disappoint. It’s quieter than older models, longer lasting battery life, an integrated crevice tool, & now a new power button. These are just a few of the new improvements they have made with this vacuum. I bought my first Dyson many years ago and would not consider ever buying any other vacuum by any other company.

The Dyson gen5detect is another excellent Dyson product. The laser illumination technology is impressive. You can see the crumbs or hair on the floor, which works in a bright or dimly lit room. The machine suction auto adjusts and preserves the battery life. The built-in crevice tool makes dusting window seals or furniture easy and convenient. This is the most refined Dyson vacuum I've ever owned.

Great vacuum. Upgrading from old v11 which left lots of dust and dirt on the floor. Going over the same area with this is amazing for all of the extra dirt it picks up. The laser head is much improved for hardwood floors.
