Works like it’s supposed to when paired with a Bravia TV and A3000 or better soundbar. Is it a good value? The retail price on these are somewhat high, considering the Soundbar and Sub each cost as much as the TV. Makes no sense they need to be purchased separately, given that most of the audio features can not be accessed without the correct TV as part of the loop. That is, other brands or models of soundbar are not fully configurable thru the TV interface so you are pretty much stuck buying Sony HT-A products if you have their Bravia TVs, and so they hit you hard on pricing. But, for most users, the ease of set up and configuration are probabaly worth going with the fully compatible sound system.

The sub is perfect for my condo, and has plenty of bass. I was worried if I should get the bigger one (sw5), but this fits my needs. Great deal, best price at time of purchased, and item was brand new!

Debated between this model or the newest more powerful woofer. I am not one to listen to loud shows or music so this is more than adequate.

Great sound. Easy setup

Great sound, with deep bass. Works great with my Sony sound bar and Bravia OLED TV. Not too large, so it fits well in the living room.
