The original black body has lasted for 3 years of bashing. I did use drywall tape & Shoe Goo to reinforce it. The Big Rock V3 is an amazingly tough RC. On a side note I also purchased the blue body from the V2 Big Rock and it has even thicker lexan at .040" thick where the black body is .030' thick.
