Excellent replacement remote: be aware of light control limitation
The remote arrived in excellent condition. I referred to my old setup instructions that my fan came with; it was just about identical to the instructions shipped with remote. I was able to program it, and it is working fine. The reason I didn't rate it 5 stars, is that even though it was the same exact model number as my old remote, there is no apparent way to control the up light (only the down light can be controlled). So unless there is some sort of hack to control both lights, only one of the two lights can be controlled.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I bought this to replace the remote for my Harbor Breeze ceiling fan. It had the same model number as my old remote, so I figured it should work, and it did. I made sure the dip switches were set the same as the old remote, put in a battery, and voila worked.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works Perfectly and could not be more pleased
Works just like OEM, all one needs to do is set the dip switches to match the fan. In our case we wanted two remotes for our master BR fan so we each had control at night vs bothering each other while sleeping. Worked well as replacement for original remote
Bought as a replacement for the 3 year old remote that failed. You do have to kill the breaker to the fan to reset the program for the new remote. It's 'tricky if your breaker box is very far from the fan you may need two people or running shoes.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
