amazing cool and easy to use. You need one of these
One of the coolest pieces of technology I have seen. If you are a serious into RC or just curious how fast your vehicle is going this is for you. The device is easy to use. After getting a GPS lock. For example to get peak speed you press the mode button until speed and peak appear on the top of the screen. Then you are ready to go. The device will show your peak speed. If you plug the device into your computer it really gets even more cool. You can see the GPS track the device traveled during each run and the recorded values such as peak and average speed, peal altitude and other parameters. The tiny battery lasts a long time and be quickly recharged using a phone microusb cable. Important to note that this device is surprisingly durable. I tested it on a friends RC truck and it the vehicle crashed and flipped numerous times but the meter still works.

You don't have to guess how fast your RC car is really going! Great GPS device!
It's great to know how fact your RC car is actually going! This product is small, light and very easy to use. I mounted it with tie wraps and took off in the local parking lot. I set it up to record my runs and it did that when I downloaded the software to my computer. I was surprised that in addition to data, it mapped my runs as well. I could see where it had been. Very nice and I think reasonably priced. Great product!

Sky rc speed meter
It works but I don't like the small lettering and numbers on the tiny screen. Plus you have to press mode to see your speed unlike the screen on the garmin forerunner 301. That is much better, and now I see why it cost a littl we more.

Ever RC'er shoud have one to test with
The good- These are awesome units. I have yet to try it on my RC models due to the weather. I have taken it with me in the car and it did exactly as expected. The bad- (just annoying) Wish the battery compartment was better secured. I guess a piece of tape will cure that.
