6 total outlets – 4 battery backup, and 2 surge only outlets. Stay available and connected by powering critical devices (computers, wireless networking devices, gaming consoles, security systems and other electronics) during a blackout.
This is a great compact UPS. I does not take up a much room as the other UPS that APC offers and is very simple to operate. Once you activate the unit by installing a jumper (included) in the bottom of the unit you just have to plug it in a press the power button. It has 4 UPS outlets and 2 surge protected only outlets.
For $25, I don't know how I could have done better than this. By my calculation, if I lose power, the battery should be able to keep my PC up for 1-2 hours. I'm hoping it can also keep the voltage high in the case of a brown out.
I have previous experience with APC products. Your price was exceptionally great for this item. Very easy to setup and everything is working perfectly. Than you for excellent service with this purchase.
Approximately 4 minutes with powerful music production PC, external gear, HDD's, etc. Enough time to save whatever project you're working on, power down gear & then PC. I would have preferred an hour. But, those units are huge & very expensive. This protects my equipment from brown outs too. Highly recommended to save thousands of dollars worth of tools for your trade.
Great for keeping alive your lower power items like your internet router (which is what it is intended for). Nice, compact size, and it has keyhole mounting holes on the back so that it can be hung on the wall on a couple of screws.
