Wow! I have never been able to grow nails to a decent length. I started using this a couple years ago.Although it takes a while before you begin to see a difference, keep diligent with applying and you will be amazed. I NOW need to clip a few nails because they get too long. I have been buying it at a nail salon and the price went up to, I think, $16! I came home and checked ebay. I got it for $10! So far I’m a week into using this product on my just trimmed short nails and they do seem to be harder. The growth seems the same but with more rigidity. I followed the directions for first time use which is basically two coats day one, skip a day, then apply one coat, skip a day, then one coat, then remove and reapply. When I tap my nails on any hard surface they seem to be stronger than before. I did buy a bottle of O.P.I. Infinite Shine 2 polish to apply soon. The Infinite Shine line seems to be a couple of bucks more than their usual polish. I even read somewhere that when a woman went to get her nails done and picked an Infinite Shine one they charged her $2.00 extra. So far I am impressed and if I remember I will do a follow up review. I never used to do reviews and felt guilty because I always read reviews when I purchase a product. I live in the Southern California mountains and do not like driving down the hill to shop. For as long as I can remember I’ve had fingernails that break at the top corners (sometimes so close to the cuticle bed that they bleed). I would always have to get acrylic tips if I wanted to my hands to look well groomed but they take a lot of layers off your nails when applying acrylics which ends up making them weaker than when you started plus you’d be looking at average of $60-$70ea time for a full set. I’ve been applying this opi strengthener for almost 3 weeks and FINALLY I’m starting to grow healthy and strong nails that aren’t breaking!!
