Super product for a super price
Wow! I have never been able to grow nails to a decent length. I started using this a couple years ago.Although it takes a while before you begin to see a difference, keep diligent with applying and you will be amazed. I NOW need to clip a few nails because they get too long. I have been buying it at a nail salon and the price went up to, I think, $16! I came home and checked ebay. I got it for $10! Impressed So Far!
So far I’m a week into using this product on my just trimmed short nails and they do seem to be harder. The growth seems the same but with more rigidity. I followed the directions for first time use which is basically two coats day one, skip a day, then apply one coat, skip a day, then one coat, then remove and reapply. When I tap my nails on any hard surface they seem to be stronger than before. I did buy a bottle of O.P.I. Infinite Shine 2 polish to apply soon. The Infinite Shine line seems to be a couple of bucks more than their usual polish. I even read somewhere that when a woman went to get her nails done and picked an Infinite Shine one they charged her $2.00 extra. So far I am impressed and if I remember I will do a follow up review. I never used to do reviews and felt guilty because I always read reviews when I purchase a product. I live in the Southern California mountains and do not like driving down the hill to shop. Great Nail Protection
My nails use to be weak and peeled. Since I have been using this product the peeling has almost disappeared and my nails are stronger. I always use it first on my clean nails before I add nail color. FINALLY A PRODUCT THAT WORKS!
For as long as I can remember I’ve had fingernails that break at the top corners (sometimes so close to the cuticle bed that they bleed). I would always have to get acrylic tips if I wanted to my hands to look well groomed but they take a lot of layers off your nails when applying acrylics which ends up making them weaker than when you started plus you’d be looking at average of $60-$70ea time for a full set. I’ve been applying this opi strengthener for almost 3 weeks and FINALLY I’m starting to grow healthy and strong nails that aren’t breaking!! Awesome product!
I've been using Nail Envy (Original) for years and won't be caught without it! I raise/train/show horses, so my nails take a major beating and, after trying several other products, I've found this is the only nail strengthener that works for me. (I keep my nails medium length--abt 1/8" past my finger-tips.) I usually wear it alone, but when I wear nail-color over it, I also use it as a top-coat and it seems to extend the life of my polish (even if it's cheaper polish). I have nails!
I have been using this product for three weeks. A friend of mine recommended it. I apply a thin coat on my nails everyday for 6 days and on the seventh day I remove the product and start over again. This product is very useful by itself. However, I add another product for the nail beds I use jojoba oil in a product called called SOLAR OIL. I put a small amount in the bed of my nail and massage it in for about 10 seconds then just continue covering my sides of the nail and a little bit over the nail. I do this in the evening before bedtime. It's useful to make the nail bed healthy again. I highly recommend NAIL ENVY NAILS STRENGTHENER from O.P.I. For the first time in years, my nails are growing!
