The product was not easy for me to set up because I could not find the right wireless IP address on the bottom of my modem but after my son helped with that task the printer works fine: it is not so big and overpowering in size, it prints clearly and noiseless. Small and light but sooooo slow...
Pro’s: Cheap, Printing quality, Small size, Fax included, Quiet. Con’s: Not easy wireless setup, Printing menu not user friendly, but the most annoying feature is the printing speed. This printer is so slow but when I say slow a snail would come out 3 times faster than the sheet. I use it only for B&W printing and I reduce the file size. I do avoid printing large colour files or pictures. Certain types of files need to be started in the evening so you get the print job ready in the morning. THIS IS THE 2ND ONE OF THESE I PURCHASED. THE 1ST ONE I BOUGHT 6 OR MORE YEARS AGO & IT WORKED FLAWLESSLY FOR YEARS. I THINK THE INK HEAD WAS GETTING CLOGGED SO IT WASN'T PRINTING VERY WELL ANY MORE. I GRABBED SOME SOLVENT CLEANER OUT OF THE GARAGE TO RUN THROUGH IT TO SEE IF THAT WOULD FIX IT UP. IT REALLY COOKED THE HEAD BUT I FIGURED IT WAS WORTH A SHOT. BOUGHT THIS NEW ONE & ALL IS WELL IN THE WORLD AGAIN. ONLY PROBLEM IS THEY CHANGED INK CARTRIDGES IN THE LAST 6 YEARS SO, ALL THE EXTRA INK I HAVE FOR OLD MACHINE IS WORTHLESS. Slow printing
The design and options of the printer are very good. Set-up was easy and did not take a great deal of time. Print quality is very good, but printing seems to be very slow. It's a OK printer.
I only print occasionally and have only used it a couple of times.It was easy to set up and use. I don't think it's as good as my old HP. I also think I paid too much for it. Prints right first time
After two printers that start with a C and ends with ANON .. Good for a couple of years of printing
Cheap with average performance at best. No Ethernet connection so you have to use wireless. Print heads dry often so you will be doing lots of cleaning and eventually throw it out after a couple of years. This is my third brother printer so I am quite used to them by now.
