Great ideas for Vegan Eating!
I received this from a friend for my birthday after going from vegetarian to vegan. This book has so many good ideas for cooking which allow you to revolutionize your thoughts around vegan food. I actually bought a copy for a family member after telling them about so many of the dishes in the book. Good for for a veg cookbook
Ok lets face it if you want a good veg cookbook this works. At first seeing the F word in a cookbook was a funny gimmick. But it gets old realty fast and it seemed like the author was just trying to force the F bomb into every page and it comes off real mechanical. Although, being older and not using bad language, which doesn't seem bad anymore, unless you are teaching a young child not to repeat it, I would have appreciated it if it hadn't been used, but I am one and the recipes are really good! Great f*cking cookbook!!
Great book written with a great sense of humor (and lots of profanity, so if you're a sensitive pearl-clutching type, this is not the book for you). I have been wanting to start cooking more vegetarian meals and this book has a lot of great recipes. My friend made the chickpea tacos recipe — normally I don't like the texture of chickpeas — and it turned me into a chickpea fan! It also inspired me to get my own copy of the book.
