Parallel port Problem Solver
Excellent solution to my problem. This devise let's me continue to use my old workhorse LaserJet 1300. The usb3 ports on my traded up laptop would not talk to the printer's ancient usb ports. But this devise connected nicely with the printer's parallel port. I didn't have to do anything but connect the laptop to the printer. Not setting adjustments we're required. Installed on a Windows 7 computer simply by plugging it in to a USB port. However, when you install your (old Centronics-interface) printer, make sure you "add a local printer" and select the USB port that was just created.
