The best way to describe the incredibly cool Micronauts? Take some of George Lucas' original Star Wars, add a huge chunk of Flash Gordon, and then throw in a dash of Chris Claremont's Uncanny X-Men, then blend on high for an instant Sci-Fi classic! Man, Marvel Comics' Bill Mantlo did an amazing job of writing this spectacular series, which was based off of the late 1970's Mego toy-line of interchangeable parts for their Micronauts outer-space toys from Japan! But the real star here is Michael Golden's simply incredible artwork here for the first 12 issues and his fantastically awesome Micronauts comic book covers should be on all T-shirts globally! Sadly, Michael Golden only does the first 12 issues here! (Groan.) And the comic book artists who come after Michael Golden in this volume don't even come close to his iconic work! That's why I gave this volume just 4 stars! Oh, and Bug's girlfriend, Jasmine, was a total babe! And some 44 years later, I'm still highly upset that she wasn't part of The Micronauts for way more issues! Now if Hollywood would just stick closely to Bill Mantlo's work here, THE MICRONAUTS ARE JUST SCREAMING TO BE MARVEL'S NEXT BIG MOVIE FRANCHISE!Read full review

Reprints marvel micronauts comic books from the 1970s. Remastered and it was a good if now obscure series, I believe based on toys? But the stories are fun and the art and writing was good .
