Very good cameras with easy setup!!
Perfect cameras for the security that I feel I need around my house. The picture quality is good and getting them setup with my existing WiFi system was very easy. I have a total of 6 cameras in use but had to modify the setup a little. My home is 75 feet wide and required the use of an additional WiFi Extender to ensure a good strong signal on the farthest end of my home. Got the extender connected to my WiFi, purchased a second camera module to ensure a good connection to the second module. Cameras are working perfectly--each camera is giving me a good picture and is receiving a strong connection. I highly recommend these cameras--setting them up to the module and to your WiFi system is easy using the blink app. on your smart device. Not as good as previous generation.
My XT2 cameras that I have are great at night with their IR capabilities. This camera is worthless at night. For daytime use, the picture quality is superior to the older cameras, but for use in the dark, is worthless and would not catch anything usable. BLINK GENERATION 3 CAMERA
Connected to my WIFI service in less than 30 seconds and it was up and running inside 1 minute! Works perfectly and I'm very happy with the purchase. I originally had the BLINK XT SYSTEM with 2 cameras. This camera is a later version, generation 3 I believe but it flawlessly worked without a glitch. The mounting plastic pod is a great improvement over the xt.plastic connect. With those I was never sure the wind would blow it off its mount. But the gen 3 plastic mounting point is ultra secure. Great Camera - added to my existing system
This was an add on to an already existing Blink system. Installation was a breeze. I love the Blink system because it's easier to use than the Ring camera system. I installed this camera pointing directly at my new car. Notifications come to my phone quickly and I can see if it's the neighborhood cats walking by or if it's a human in the driveway.
