The drill heats up too much, although they had already fixed that problem, but this new version surprises me 2904, how it heats up and the heat is transmitted to the handle. I drilled four and a quarter inch holes in ceramic with the proper 5mm irwin bit and it got too hot, I had to let it cool. 10 minutes later it was still hot. If you force it, it will surely burn. A drill of this type cannot withstand much work before burning out. No drill I have heats up like that, not other 12V Milwaukee drills I have. Better to try the Dewalt DCD999 flex volt, I was going to buy it, but I didn't want another type of battery, but I think it is a better option than this one, because with this performance it doesn't last long if it is needed for serious workRead full review

As described. Seems new. A little heavy, but with all the quaulity, features and power, that is understandable.

Used the hammer drill feature with drilling several holes in concrete block. Worked Great!

The drill arrived on time. I already used it on a job. It works very well, making the holes for Tapcon concrete screws quite easily. I have not used it on post/pre stressed concrete yet, but I am confident that it will drill into that dense concrete quite well also.

Fantastic hammer drill, drilling into concrete foundation with a 5-1/2 in. carbide masonry drill bit for 3.25" Tapcon concrete anchors, it drilled most holes out in under 15 seconds. My old Craftsman 120v hammer drill which is very heavy, took MUCH longer to drill into the concrete, and after using it your arms were vibrating from the hammering of it, not with the Milwaukee, you can use it for hours and not have any sore muscles after. Was a great investment for me.

I’m replacing a broken Milwaukee drill /hammer. This unit is more compact and is better balanced. It works as designed and is a great value for the price. I would purchase again.

Drill is a beast compared to the first gen Milwaukee drill that went south on me. Heavy duty etc. If you don't have one, get one. No cons at this time.
