I like the swivel or rotating head on the vacuum cleaner. The attachments all store nicely on board the machine. We have used it both on carpet and vinyl flooring and was surprised how much hair it picked up from our small dog. But it did well cleaning dirt and other tracked in debris from outside. My wife has RA and was able to use this vacuum with ease. I was disappointed that the cleaning roller can't be turned off when using the attachments. Hard to use on carpeted stairs as it is recommended that you don't carry the vacuum when in use. But overall, this vacuum had all the features I wanted for our small home
