I like the vertical form factor and the spacing of the outlets--provides room for transformers. Also this device performs a check on the outlet it's plugged into. On one of my outlets it flagged a bad connection and prompted me to call an electrician to fix. Very cool.
Oh, and it seems to work well as a UPS too,.
APC / Schneider Electric Company always puts out a great product.
These units are small and compact. They are great to use where you have frequent brown-outs to keep your big screen, router, POE, etc. from having to reboot.
They are not large enought to keep anything running for a long time, however, they work great as a supplemental to a larger full system backup. Easy to use and install into a system.
This unit does the trick. It's not going to run your computer or TV and gaming console for an extended amount of time but will certainly give you time to save work and shut down. That is what it is designed to do and it does it well for a very reasonable price.
I’ve always relied on APC and this model is no exception.
I use it to keep my routers online connection during Brown outs, so far it working flawlessly.
