I was able to remove the screen with this kit. However the Tritip screwdriver did not at all fit the four screws required to removed the silver cover plate and connect the battery. Also something these kits don’t mention is they will ruin the water seal. I found a place that replaced the battery for $39 bucks and that included the new battery and they reinstall the waterproofing seal. So to me it’s worth the money. But if you don’t care about the seal don’t trust that all the tools will work with this kit and may leave you stranded with an open screen and no way to proceed further.
