The magazine is made of some type of polymer, it fits and functions as well as the metal 5 round magazine that was included with the rifle. The extra 5 rounds is nice. So far, so good.

The PRO. It works, but not as well as expected and has issues in my rifle. The NEUTRAL. Loading is about as easy as most other 22 mags. It is plastic composite, so I am not sure how long this will keep working. I did not experience any mis-feeds. The CON. It does not always seat well in my rifle, and can be a little difficult to get it to insert properly. Along with that, there are times it is difficult to release and seems to want to stick inside. The biggest con is the ridiculous price for a plastic composite 22 mag! My RANT. One can buy 3-4 mags for an AR for what just one CZ 22 costs. Outrageous! Somebody needs to make some aftermarket alternatives, preferably metal.

Although not steel, like my older CZ 452 & 453's they seem to work just fine and at a lot better pricing...from what I have read on the net, the seen to hold up over time...CZ always makes quality products (Plastic or Steel) that stand the test of time...6 stars out of 5...

Item is plastic and does not sit flush or lock properly in the tu-33/40 that I got it for, this causes misfeeds or simple fail-to-feeds. The steel 5-round magazine I also use works great in comparison, and it snaps in place properly.

I was a little concerned that these mags were made of plastic. I was immediately put at ease after using them. They work flawlessly! Theres more! I had them in my range bag when I backed up my truck and ran over them. No damage! The 22 ammo boxes with them were pulverized. These magazines are well made and work great. What's not to love?
