Poor implementation of a nice design
Tripod has all the desired features but being all plastic does not appear robust enough for regular use or for a construction site. The unit arrived damaged, one of the leg braces was broken as was a leg extension clip. Both apparently caused by rough handling during shipment [box also damaged]. I reattached both with crazy glue. vertical adjustment crank is not smooth, has noticeable bumps
The vertical adjustment crank is not smooth. The cranking motion has noticeable bumps due to the nylon teeth on the vertical post. Each tooth represents a hard bump and it refuses to settle in between two teeth. This makes it very difficult (almost impossible) to adjust the horizontal laser beam to match some reference point because the post refuses to rest in some intermediate position between two teeth. I will probably buy another brand (probably a SIMA) that has a smooth vertical cranking motion.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Huepar 143cm 16 line laser level
Thoroughly surprised, usually stick with the big name lasers such as stabila and dewalt. But after my last dewalt got stolen off a job site figured I’d try something new, although the price point isn’t much cheaper. Today was my first time using it to set tile shower walls and floor. Set it on the magnetic adapter which was pretty solid. I’m the type that use to always double and triple check with my levels. But so far this thing is dead nuts. Was able to to easily adjust the adapter every 2 rows of 3x8 subway tile and make minor adjustments quick and efficiently. Although it doesn’t come in a hard case like dewalts, but the soft case feels pretty snug. It charged pretty quick and lasted a 10 hour day. I just got the tripod in the mail today, and I’d stay far away from it. It feels super flimsy and even on the 1/4thread it flops around a tad bit. Enough for the laser the keep beeping at you when it’s out of level. So I’ll stick to the magnetic adapter from here on out.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
