These are GoPro batteries, and they work great! I have purchased knock-off batteries that fit in my GoPro HERO 7, and that are touted to work, various names ... NONE of them work like the GoPro Battery. Save you money, get the performance you expect, go with GoPro batteries!

The minute I placed the batter into the GoPro 7 and needed to pull the battery out, the small pull tab came off the batter. Now, I have to force the batter out by hitting the GoPro into my palm and getting the battery to slip out. Not a good design.

I bought a GoPro Hero 6 black and several aftermarket batteries for it but the batteries wouldn't hold a charge (even GOOD aftermarket ones); the power levels would drop from 100% down to zero in a matter of minutes. I thought it was the camera and was about to sell it but then I got the 'official' GoPro batteries and they work fine. They still drain relatively quickly (about 1% per minute of filming in 1080p/60fps) but it's a big improvement. I can at least get an hour or more per charge.
