Bought this for a 500G SSD. Installs easily, works perfectly. This is a well engineered little box. It's plastic, but well designed, goes together easily, holds a 2.5" drive firmly in place. I got it to replace an Orico enclosure, which is about half the price but didn't hold the SSD so well, resulting in intermittency. Comes with a heavy duty cable -- USB Type A on both ends. Has an on/off switch, solidly installed with positive detents. But why? Not clear why I would want it. Haven't tested it for speed. A useful well made low cost item if you have a spare SSD lying around, or want to get one for an external drive.

Its poor quality but if the price is lowered just a bit its well worth it. Plus it gets the job done sometimes the two joining side do not clip together as they should. But I would buy again unless I can find another that would accomplish same task.

As holders for HDD go this was easy to set up not a whole lot to it. Installing the HDD into it was very easy and nothing in the way. i like the light that tells me if its working, on or off. Most i have had do not have any indicator lights. Compact long connect cable too. Solid cable. And delivery came days (About 4 or 5) before i was told it would come.
