Panasonic LUMIX GX85 4K Mirrorless Camera with 12-32mm and 45-150mm Lenses Black. Brand new in box with all accessories….one day handling
Love the size, light weight, functionality, quality and the many great features it has. As a long-time DSLR user who loves taking both stills and video, I love that I can take it pretty much anywhere w/ me, just in case a photo op arises! And it has 4K! Yeah, yeah, yeah. You CAN take pretty good photos nowadays w/ good quality cellphones, but the resulting images will never be the same. The mere fact that you can change lenses to suit the situation puts it way out of reach of cellphones!
Without a doubt, this is one of the best camera values on the market today. $600 for a camera of this caliber with 2 decent kit lenses is quite a steal. I REALLY wish this were weather-sealed, had a fully articulating screen, and a mic input, as well as the better 20MP sensor, but once you see the results you can get with this thing, it is hard to complain. The 4k video is stunning, and the IBIS is rather unexpected in a camera at this price point. If you plan to shoot video on the move, then this alone makes this camera a strong contender.
Good compact mirrorless camera. Numerous features for its size makes it a versatile camera. Great for movies and time lapse. It's less than half the size of my full frame so I bought an adapter to add my Nikon lenses although I would not use Nikon telephotos, they were too heavy for this size body. 20mm through 85mm prime works very well. The kit lenses are good and if you find a camera along with the 12-32 & 45-150mm you won't be disappointed.
Don’t let the megapixel count fool you. This has all the good stuff to take a great photo. I love the size and weight, ibis and view finder. My minor grievances are: It’s a little hard to make manual control adjustments and haven’t figured out how to wirelessly connect to my computer. This is in compassion to my similarly sized Olympus M5 III (but it was also three time the price).
I upgraded to the gx85 from a gx1 which I still love as a camera yes I use a tripod for long exposures when I use it! I got the 85 for post focus and it is wonderful I am 73 and this camera sees better than me. I also like using my favorite older lenses. This in camera panorama capability is stunning too. Amazing thing is I don’t need to lug around tripod when I use this camera it has awesome stability even with my long zoom
