eBay Listing has my vehicle info and stated it fits, but that is incorrect information. Misleading.

  • Fit my 1998 Ford Explorer

I took a chance that this would fit my 1998 Ford Explorer. It looked very close in shape. The old one developed a rust leak - no surprise for Ford owners. I thought maybe I would have to modify a bend or two, but it was an exact replacement. My Ford is a 1998 Explorer 4 door, 4x4, Eddie Bower. Can't guarantee it fits all models, and the same years as the Rangers, but there's a good chance. BTW, to remove the old rusted one, I cut both ends near the fitting with a 32 tooth hacksaw blade in a holder and used a 6 point socket to remove the fittings. Required removing the anti-sway bar and P/S return hose to get access.
