My daughter had been using her iPhone 5 for ages and was teaching and the kids in her class were making fun of her. I gave her this iPhone 8 with 256GB and it has made a world of difference. Since she is an Apple bigot she took to it right away and loves the better pictures, the extra memory so she can load more apps and take more pictures. The size is not too big to hold in one hand and she stills texts like a banshee. It's unlocked and will support either type of carrier so she can go where she wants for service. All in all, the best Christmas gift I ever gave her. Now we start on upgrading her PC. It's always something.
I have purchased two iPhone 8's and Both my husband and my son love this phone. Battery life is great, easy to use and the size is perfect. Highly recommend it.
It still prefer the form factor of the iPhone 5/5s/SE, but this is a solid phone that isn't *too* ridiculously large in this phablet age. I guess I've just got to get used to my newfound residency in Dongletown.
