I was surprised at just how light weight my new HP 2700 Desk Jet Series Printer is compared to my old Canon MP 3620 Series that it replaced. I am very satisfied at both the speed an ease that it took to set up my new HP Printer and I like the HP app that provides me with so many controls at my fingertips. Overall I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. An I would certainly recommend the HP 2700 Series Desk Jet Series Printer to anyone looking for a quality product.

I gave it 3 stars because it doesn’t print double sided. This model does not register on HP instant ink, unless you choose the 2730 model. They need to either make it available among their models to choose from or state in the instructions to choose a different model #. I’m still trying to get it to print in color - it does not give me an option to choose color, just B&W. Will have to make another call to tech support. As for the value, I guess it’s a good starter printer - the plastic feels a little cheap. I like that I can print wirelessly. I do give the Tech support guy 5 stars for helping me set it up and signup with instant ink.

The scan and print functions are great for home use, and you can't beat the price.(However, I haven't needed ink yet. I read where that may get costly, I eventually will find out.) It's easy to use and work the settings, but the initial setup is something I'd politely refer to as ridiculous. Be prepared to waste a good half hour jumping through online hoops to do what shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes. But I am satisfied with what I have.

Got my printer, good shape, seemed like a good deal. But have spent countless hours on my own and with HP trying to get it to connect to WiFi and still am not connected. I ended up buying a hardwire cable separately because it didn’t come with one, and as long as that is connected it has been working well since. If you want the option to print from your phone, as advertised, this isn’t the printer for you! Disappointed!

Two days trying to get wifi to work. It always stopped at password check. I bought a USB cable and it still refuses to connect. I deliberately shut down the 5G connect, tested the password from 3 other devices. With the printer and wifi unit at 1 foot, 6 feet and 20 feet, no change. The chat robot didn't understand and I never got to a human. At that point I gave up. It prints nicely using the cable. Now all I have to do is transfer whatever I want to print from any of 4 devices to an old laptop, load suitable software, then print...
