Just received my ProMag 10 round magazine this morning and my first impressions were “damn this thing is huge”!! And it is quite bigger than factory mag. I haven’t held or fooled with the G43X yet but I figured hey both are ten round so they’ll average out the same but I believe this may be a bit longer not much though. As far as being sturdy, they seem to be made exactly like the factory glock magazine polymer with the steel inside as I will post pictures below. This magazine would make a great clip to take to range or carry as a backup mag because it fits in my front pocket of my jeans perfect without sticking out and seems to be tough enough to be packed as an extra mag everyday for many many years. It’s definitely worth the money and saves you another $500 from buying the G43X lol. Thank me later 😉 Read full review

The mag doesn’t fit right. I have to really shove it into the gun. When the mag is empty and the slide locks open I can’t release it with the slide release like I can with the glock mags. I think the metal pieces on either side of the cartridges are too long. It’s hard to load too. Not because of the spring. It because of those two metal pieces. I plan to file them down. I’ll bet that fixes both issues. I’ll use this for the range but won’t depend on it for my life. I hoped this would have been of better quality. And the cartridge followed don’t slide easily into the mag. the follow profile is different than the glock magazine. The follower seems to get caught up. Sorry I bought this magazine.

I like this mag. A few extra rounds at the gallery is always awesome! Durable solid construction..can't quite squeeze the full ten rounds in yet but it won't take long! No feed issues or hiccups with 100+ rounds through...the spring seems pretty solid and it feels right in use...little awkward for carry but I will probably buy another one!!

The vendor's delivery was great and on time. The package was well wrapped. The mag needed some breaking in as the slide has a slight catch while loading initially and had just a couple of misfeeds. Like most new gear this has disappeared after about 100 rounds and a dab of oil (just a dab). It feeds flawlessly now. The quality of construction is comparable to the OEM mags. The added capacity is nice.

Typical USA Mags/Pro Mag quality. It's maybe okay for FMJ range ammo, but the majority of these are NOT RELIABLE with JHP ammo, and most will NOT FEED RELIABLY WITH MORE THAN 9 ROUNDS. It's Pro Mag JUNK QUALITY. JUNK PLASTIC. JUNK METAL, JUNK SPRING. JUNK DESIGN WORK. Despite this Pro Mag has come a long ways. Their stuff has always been too sketchy to use in a life or death situation. You can use some pliers to make it a little more reliable, but it's only suitable for the range. NEVER CARRY A GUN WITH PROGAG MAGS IN IT. It will gag your gun. For a single stack to be this sketchy in a Glock, is deplorable.
