I keep this honey on hand for my DIY creams and ointments. I have also used it in soap. It is very healing for virtually any kind of skin irritation. Never heat this product when using it in these products as it will lose some of its strength. Also, this can get rid of a sore throat overnight if you catch it in time. It is way too expensive to use on a daily basis for taste. I would not be without manuka honey though. It is in my top 5 products for healing. If you look at manuka honey cream it is quite expensive. I mix this with other products which I find healing (vitamin E oil, shea butter, coconut oil, Citric acid, and aloe vera gel). The honey is the most healing ingredient by far and I have used this with elderly clients and those with psoriasis, rosea, and acne. The cream is even good for diaper rash. Each case is different.
