My understanding is that Apple is no longer producing the SE or any phones that are a reasonably small size. I prefer something that I can carry comfortably in my pocket and does everything it should. I upgraded from a 5s which was also nice but I needed a bit more memory and was able to buy a brand new SE with factory warranty that fit the bill for a bit over $200. I'm not paying $1000 for a smart phone! I'm very happy with this phone.
