I have always used AVS but I recently had to replace my car and got a 2016 sonata. The in channel vent visors do not sit right. I had them checked by an auto shop as well and said they were installed correctly however when installed they prevent the windows from rolling up and now one has broken after getting caught from being in the way. Normally this isna good brand but i do not recommend it for the 2016 sonata
AVS needs to go back to the drawing board on these.
AVS ventvisors for 2015-2017 Hyundai Sonata in channel. Let me start by saying I have used AVS on all my vehicles for many years with complete satisfaction but these are no good. installed properly and let settle extra days as per instructions, put(automatic close window window down then up Window caught on rear part of visor breaking off piece. left passenger up for another week tried window slowly and it worked ok could hear it touch but did not catch, Yesterday was hot so put windows down before going out. When I put the windows up same thing happened to other window. have not used rear windows. Seems like back end of shields have no adhesive strips and I think the plastic warps under the heat. Wasted $55.00 on these so byer beware on this particular model. Have had them on other vehicle over 10 yrs.
AVS is generally good stuff. Have used these vent shades on several vehicles. This particular set fit well, but they need the double-faced tape on all edges to keep the window from catching on the way up. A little self modification is all it takes.
Put vent shades on as instructed.Left windows up for 3 days.Took car out after 3rd day,and when putting up the window,it caught the vent shade and broke it.I do not reccomend using this product on a 2018 sonata.
I received these vents, followed all directions for application.
The problem is when raising the window up it hits back edge of vent and window jams and will not close properly.
