The LG Sport Watch is a smart watch with a stainless steel titanium case and a black classic silicone rubber buckle bracelet. This timepiece has an Android operating system, is 3D and 4D data-capable, is Bluetooth-enabled, and has a built-in storage capacity of 4GB. The sport watch is global-ready and boasts music streaming, a built-in MIC, a speaker, an accelerometer, a fitness tracker, wireless charging, and AT&T network connectivity.
Watch is quick, feature packed, smooth operating, and looks great (it's big, but hides it well, very classy looking ). Battery will get you through the day, but don't expect more. It's my first smartwatch and after trying several others, this was an easy pick. The fact that it is Android Wear's driver (first in line for updates) definitely is nice.
Came in opened box doesn't appear to be new. I am not impressed! After a full charged at 7:00 pm, 8 & 1/2 hours later at 3:34 am the watch has a 13% battery left. Pedometer isn't functioning properly. Fitness tracker in general is way off. For $20 more i could have gotten a brand new one from amazon on Black Friday. Fitness tracker reset itself accordingly at midnight. I'm at work and moving constantly and yet at 3am the watch registered a mere 1,498 steps, seriously laughable. Every once in a while I end up with a bad or defective product from eBay sellers. Most likely will be the last time though.
I was very excited about this watch, but that was until I received it.
The size is not really an issue for me as I am a guy, but the straps are really annoying me. You cannot change them and what is far worse - they are really hard and uncomfortable. Also the thickness is an issue and some shirts do not appear to have cuffs big enough so you need to pull your sleeves up as the watch does not fit under the cuffs.
The battery lets it down big time too and if I stay few extra hours at work the watch is dead by 8pm.
I've not really installed any additional apps - I tried apps like viber on the watch, but it has been a struggle where the watch is sluggish to respond and the other party cannot hear you.
I genuinely would not recommend this watch due the multitude of poor design choices.
Alot of people are concerned with the size. I found it to be a good size. It's not a suppose to be a small fitness tracker it's a smartwatch. It's even smaller then all the mechanical watch's in my collection. The battery life is about equal to my s8+. Longer battery life would be better but I have no problem getting 18-20 hrs with everything turned on except LTE.
This is a really nice Android watch. It has every feature you might need and then some. I haven't tested the LTE functionality, as I don't intend to get a SIM card for the watch, and I'm not sure it even has the right bands to work in Australia. But everything else works great.
The battery life is a little worse than my previous Smartwatch, the LG R. That's not surprising since this has so many other sensors running. When I switch off GPS, LTE, and Wifi, I get a full day. It does also take a lot longer to charge. I used to be able to put my LG R on to charge while I took a shower in the morning, and it would get to 100% in less than 30 minutes. This watch takes longer, and sometimes isn't quite sitting on the charger right and doesn't charge at all.
Other than that though, it's great. The screen is beautiful; the design is sleek; the auto-detection of workouts is amazing; the speaker is surprisingly good; Google Assistant works smoothly; and the watch is very responsive.Read full review
