  • A Gem of a Biography

I heard about Robert Chapman nearly 10 years ago when my pastor referred to him in a sermon. I promptly borrowed this biography from him and read it. He is not well known nowadays, but he was an influence to men like C.H. Spurgeon and Hudson Taylor. This bio is a great encouragement for Christians who want to see the love of God lived out in a very real way. Chapman could have been rich, but chose a life of poverty living among the poor. He loved his enemies and lived the gospel. His love for one of his persecutors actually led to that man's conversion. This book will encourage and challenge you to be more like Jesus.
