I like them because there is no adhesive over the center of the patch - the part that covers the freestyle libre sensor on my arm. Now when I need to change the patch because it is peeling up it is not going to also pull off the sensor. I had other patches that had adhesive all over and never could remove them without losing the sensor. And those sensors are too expensive to waste that way. Anyway my husband and I are both using them and they are working well so far!

Work Great. Have no fear of bumping it with the patch on which makes it a smooth transition on my arm. A TRICK you will love, I cut a used K-Cup to about 1/8 inch from the bottom stick it on the Fixic Patch and it makes one handed lining up application supper easy and it will not pull on the sensor upon removal. Some are selling similar 3-d printed for $20 bucks on Ebay..

I have always had a problem with keeping my Libre 14 day sensor on for the full 14 days. I have tried various tapes designed for this purpose but non lasted over 5 or 6 days at best. I purchased one of the plastic caps that fit over the sensor to allow the tape to be changed out easier without removing the sensor in the process. None of the tapes had the waterproofing and sweat proofing qualities claimed by their manufacturers and/ or vendors. I tried using Skin Tac before applying the sensor and tape. This helped, but the tapes would soon begin wrinkling and peeling after getting wet. I sent off for a sample of 2 Skin Grips which was better than the tapes, but they came nowhere close to lasting the full 14 days. In all fairness, the Skin Grips had a hole in the center which allowed moisture to penetrate into the center as well as the outside edges. Then I tried Fixics along with the Skin Tac and have achieved the full 14 day period with just one being used. It did get some loose edges after 9 - 10 days. I would snip off the loose edges which seemed to help keep more from getting loose. I like the closed center design with no adhesive in the center ridge and the ridge makes for a better fit. This have been the best system that that I have used so far.Read full review

This bandaid protects the sensor from bumps and hits. It is easy to change and it really last.

When I got my first Libre unit, I literally had it ripped from my arm by a screen door frame. I bought several types of patches. The ones that looked like band aids were very hard to remove the backing from the patch. These round ones have just worked for me. The backing is scored and is easy to remove. It stays where I put it and I trust it to protect my investment.
