I just received my new SD425x remote trainer and programmed it to work with my other collars in seconds😍I have had my older model of SD 425 trainer for 4 or 5 years, I use it and charge it daily. It still works flawlessly and has never let me down!! You can pay more for an e collar but I don’t think you could get one any better than the sport dog! I love the smaller size of the transmitter and noticed immediately the little notches in the charger covers that make the covers a lot easier to open! We have had an older version of this collar that we used for years and loved it. Needed to be replaced. Are just in the beginning stages of using this one on our 7 month old puppy - i.e. just wearing it without using it, and following the guidance given in the manual that came with the collar. We also have another (old) one of the same, that is still going strong, that we use with our older dog. The collars work REALLY well. After a very short training period, the dogs respond just to the tone. We RARELY ever have to use the correction.
