This is a very beautiful watch. The textured dial is very well done and just looks amazing with its different levels and complications. The fit and finish is very high quality and can easily compete with other brands costing much, much more. I have two other Orient watches, and have enjoyed owning them. They get compliments when I wear them (even from watch Buffs). This watch was priced in the middle of the others. The sapphire crystal and see-through case back just give it an additional bit of a luxury feel that you would normally spend much more to get. The watch is keeping Very good time, and the second hand has a buttery smooth motion thank to the high beat movement. I am very impressed with the leather band and the gold safety clasp.
Overall I am impressed and happy to have made this choice. If you like a dress watch with extra charm...try this one.Read full review
Orient watches are by far the best valued mechanical watches out there. The design, workmanship, and reliability are simply impeccable at a very affordable price. This particular watch (FAK00001Y) is perhaps one of the most handsome in terms of dial finish and layout. I have been wearing mine for about 2 months now and every time I look at it to check the time, I can't help but admire the watch dial. I mean this is the whole point of wearing a mechanical watch, not to actually tell accurate time, but to admire the amazing tiny machine on your wrist.
I love the look of this watch. Clearly marked and beautifully styled this watch is automatic but capable of hand winding and hacking and both the day of the week and date are adjustable.
