I PURCHASED THIS ITEM TO SUPPLEMENT AN ORIGINAL SET WHICH WAS MISSING SEVERAL TRACK SECTIONS. MY 5 AND 3 YEAR OLD GRANDSONS LOVE PLAYING WITH THIS TRAIN SET. THE ORIGINAL SET HAD A COLOR CODED MULTI LAYOUT SET OF PLANS TO WHICH I MADE SEVERAL COPIES THAT I LAMINATED FOR FUTURE USE. THE NEW SET DID NOT HAVE THAT FEATURE. I ENJOY WATCHING THE BOYS WORKING TOGETHER WITH THE OLDER BROTHER GIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE YOUNGER BROTHER SHOWING HIM ON THE LAYOUT PLAN AS TO WHAT COLOR TRACK TO GET AND WHERE IT GOES. GETTING THE BROTHERS TO WORK TOGETHER WITHOUT FIGHTING WAS VERY REWARDING.
