I have had issues with my car's idle for a few years now. I have adjusted and replaced many things but could never get the idle to be correct and consistent. After adjusting the Choke Cap for the 10th time, I decided to remove it and have a look inside. I was surprised to see that there was a crack and small piece of the cap missing at the bottom (I could not see this when it was installed). I replaced with the new Cap and it idles perfectly now.

I used this electric choke to replace the hot air choke on my 67 Mustang. Get rid of manifold tubes and heater hose choke operation with one simple wire from the alternator stator terminal to the choke positive, then ground the other terminal and your done. Works great!

I was a little hesitant at first about this for my carburetor. I bought it anyway because why not right? Worked out well. Been in my car for almost a year and haven't had a single issue.

OLD CHOKE CAP WAS 28 YEARS OLD WITH ONLY ABOUT 6000 MILES (1973 MUSTANG), BUT THE CHOKE DID NOT WORK RIGHT ANYMORE (CAR WAS HARD TO START). REPLACED IT WITH THIS NEW HOLLEY ORIGINAL CAP & THE CAR STARTS GREAT. I GUESS THE OLD BI-METAL SPRING IN THE OLD CAP DID WEAR OUT OVER TIME. NEW CAP SOLVED ALL MY PROBLEMS, ONE HAPPY CUSTOMER.
