It was a genuine Ford Motor raft filter for way more reasonable than an auto parts store. It was as easy as I've ever had to change out my filter. I am so happy.

the price was great. It looks like the real thing but It will not push down the spring so you can't screw on the cover.went to the local auto parts store and purchased the same filter(motorcraft FL 2016) and it released the spring and i was able to screw the cover on. a fit perfect. I could not tell the difference between the two must be something inside the filter I could not see. Tried to save some $. this was the first time purchasing filters on line I will not be buying filters on line any more. I have a 2004 F350 6.0 powerstroke Diesel.

I always use strictly OEM filters on the 6.0 for a few reasons. Main one being the check valve system...aftermarket filters have a notorious reputation for not meeting oem dimensions. Without the correct dimension the check valve will not operate correctly and causes lack of lube on cold starts, along with increased crank times (ie: hard starts). Every time I change oil I'm back here for a filter; price is great and shipping is fast!

Sorry if this is duplicate - eBay asked, and it’s worth repeating. Filter is absolutely identical to all I’ve used on this vehicle. Don’t be put off by the low price. Plan ahead and pay less than half the price at most auto parts stores or evenAmazon.

Great product. I ordered 2 so I’ll have one on hand for next change. Cheaper than Ford dealer and cheaper than the auto parts stores.
