Great speaker for a low watt amp, or for reloading a 4 x 12 cab. I used mine in a Fender Super Champ XD, In a Custom, Pine, single 12" Combo cab. With Tilt back legs. Great speaker for this amp. The amp is tubed with Vintage Mullard, smoked glass 6V6 power tubes, and a Telefunken 12AX7A preamp tube. The tone out of this rig is outstanding, and studio quality. In fact it makes for the perfect Studio amp. You can change the tone of the amp by Changing Tubes, with both Power tubes, and Preamp tubes. A vintage Mullard 12AX7A, a Preffered Series 7025, an RCA 5751, and the Vintage Telefunken 12AX7A, make a big difference in the preamp tone. Then you can change it totaly with all new JJ Tesla tubes. A pair of Yellow jacket tube transformers and a Pair of Seimans EL84 power tubes, and its a totaly different amp altogether. Blues to Rock, this amp will talk. I was using a Celestian 85 watt Lead 12" previously, and although it sounded good, the Greenback has seriously improved the tone, overall.
