These watch bands are notorious for breaking. If you wear a watch that has this type of band, chances are you will be replacing it several times over the course of owning your watch. What you have to watch out for when replacing these bands is that the rubber material is relatively soft and easily bendable around the wrist, which means you will get lots of wear out of it until it inevitably breaks at some point. The older the band (older 'vintage' bands) are usually very brittle and won't hold up for very long. They will crack. I love my Casio calculator watch, though, and have been wearing one for years.. so there are definitely going to be many more of these band purchases in my future. C'est la vie.

If the factory still sells original replacements at a decent price, why look for generic ones? Granted, if you can't find a Casio watch strap readily available locally, and you simply don't want to put down your Casio until the replacement arrives by mail, here's a little preemptive planning: The little rubber loop near the buckle usually goes first. That's the tell-tale sign that you should look for a replacement, as the main adjustment hole strap itself will soon fail from mechanical fatigue where the buckle tightens against the usual notch strap the wearer uses. If the strap breaks before the rubber loop (from experience, this is rare), carefully take the rubber loop off and keep it as a spare when the future factory Casio replacement band strap will very likely break its own rubber loop (though keep in mind that this could happen years later). I've lost count on how many watch straps I've replaced on my trusty daily, a Casio CA-53W. Fourth band strap, maybe?Read full review

I've tried many watch bands for my Casio watch, and this is the best, by far. The price is good, and the durability ought to be much better than many of the others I've tried.

Original Casio factory band for my old watch. Makes it look new again. Happy to find it. Great price.

This is like the third or fourth one of these that I've bought. It is a watch band that is compatible with my watch. I only give it 4 stars because they keep breaking and I have to keep replacing it

In the past, I've been able to buy a generic replacement and replace it myself whenever the rubber strap for my beloved workhorse Casio CA-53W "nerd watch" failed. Recently, the only 20mm-wide replacement strap available at local stores was far too thick at the ends that mated with the watch body -- thus, I did what I, as an engineer, should have thought to do in the first place and bought this OEM Casio-branded strap. Here, I must warn that this, while an identical replacement for the original strap, is unaccountably sold without the spring bars that serve to hold the watch in place; one is thus advised to retain the spring bars from the failed strap in order to install this otherwise ideal, perfectly fitted replacement strap. Using those saved spring bars from the failed strap, one can install the new strap effortlessly in less than 5 minutes. The result amounts to a functionally renewed watch, with a strap that is physically identical to and as comfortable and apparently sturdy as the original component. Outside of the noted spring-bar caveat, I cannot recommend this product highly enough.Read full review

Exactly like the original band, sleek, not bulky, just like I want it.

Great replacement bands for my Casio data bank I've had since middle school.

It’s genuine it’s great 👍🏾 but in my opinion it’s a little too expensive tho

Finally fixed my watch strap! Not too tough to put on, but make sure to face them the right way or you’ll be doing it twice like me 😅 They look and feel exactly like the ones my watch came with so they’re the real deal as far as I can tell.
