A heater is a heater right? I worked in an Aquarium / Pet store when i was a younger man. Dad always had aquarium too! After having a vacation ( from not having one). I bought an Aquarium off an internet application It needed some extras though. I bought a couple of heaters before landing on this beauty! The price was super the quality was great and Who can say something bad about Aqueon! The price was so low i was thinking it might be used or broken! I was very pleased when this brand new 150 watt heater!I will be checking back if i need something else! Thank you.

Great Aquarium heater
Was hesitant to purchase at first because I usually use another brand but I am glad I did. This is a sturdy unit and the forward sloping design of the temp. control knob is easier to read & turn. It has only been in use for a short time but it is keeping the water a perfect temperature. If I like it in a month or so, I'd will gradually replace all my tank heaters with the Aqueon Pro.

I needed a durable aquarium heater for a 40 gallon tank to house my pet snapping turtle. Did not take a chance on a glass heater. This model is great; provides needed heating and is physically extremely rugged (including the electric cord). The little beast is happy!

Great Heater
I purchased for a 40 gallon bow front. It is the perfect length, and is a black matte metal case. With a black background, it disappears. The thermostat is accurate to a degree and maintains it without any fluctuations. I’ve had several heaters and this one beats them all. It’s definitely worth the price.

Used this heater for a painted turtle tank because it is very well made, easy to adjust and holds temperature well. Turtles break heaters but not this one since it has a metal housing.
