I got this for my new college student to lock up prescription bottles. Whether it's an extra inhaler, pain meds, or other controlled substances properly prescribed and administered at home, you need to prepare when your student moves into a dorm with a stranger. Prescription meds are expensive, so this is a great solution. It can hold 4 smaller Rx bottles(the ones they use for 30 day supply), and I love I don't need yet another lock&key to secure it, so that someone can't just swipe the whole safe and walk out. Safe cracking is part patience, part skill, and part brute force, this thing is better used as a decoy for morons who think people should be dumb enough to entrust their valuables to the safe equivalent of a bike lock.....use a diversion safe instead, cheaper and people never think a bolt or wd40 can have ten g’s in it, to the manufacturer, I’d just say back to the drawing board with this one, I could design a better safe than this thats far more durable and less likely to forget its own passcode....sad, but it can buy you ten seconds and that might make the difference depending on the situation....in short, it’s crap....

If you're looking for a "safe," then buy one. This is not a safe. There is no doubt a determined thief could open this unit. But not easily. It's a nice, strong solution if you need portable security . It will deter 90% of would be thieves and for its purpose, it really does well.
