The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
I'm an Evans HD snare head player, but these were on sale so I picked up 2. They're good heads, but I don't care for the center patch. It makes to hard to get good double stroke rolls. Remo should make the same head without the center patch and they'd have a great drumhead(to me).

Awesome Sound.
This Powerstroke 77 sounded better than I anticipated. Ia trying it out out of curiosity, and switched out my X14 for it on my Yamaha Brass Piccolo. And I can stay off of it. It's got plenty of crank, attack, and a small amount of overtones. Seriously Considering buying another one and putting it my main Live Oak snare.
