They are weights. I don’t know a lot about them, they were a Christmas gift for my 15 year old son. They seem sturdy. They are in good shape but we have yet to see longevity as far as chipping or breaking. Weight are weights? I’ve heard this brand is good so I’m confident my son will be using these for years. One of the best deals I found and can’t find any at local store so free shipping was great.
