I've been buying this for the last ten years or so but stopped because the formula appeared to have changed. Buying this off ebay has been a godsend for me. Not only is the price an excellent bargin, but the quality is the same as what I had been accustomed to buying from the department store. Love it. Doesn't smear and doesnt irratate like the one the stores have replaced it with. I only wish I knew how long I could store it before it goes bad. I'd surely buy a couple more before they run out.

It's an authentic product not a copy cat but it doesn't apply easily. Can't seem to get a clear line of color under my eye it's sketchy. Tried holding it more upright with no better result. Color is great but have to apply another eye pencil over it so it covers completely. The company told me to return it but I didn't want to go thru the hassle.

This is not a bad eye liner. I've been using Lancome for years and their eye liners are the best in quality; they are smooth to apply and gentle on the eyes; does not irritate or make the eye tear even when applied on the water line. I like the smudge tip because I can clean up a line on the bottom lid if it's too heavy, etc. It goes on nice and dark. But as an eyeliner for doing cat eyes - this liner didn't last and rubbed off within an hour of applying. You can only wear this liner on the water line. It's not good for doing cat eyes or the sides of the eyes. If you want a good eyeliner for the water line, this is a good pencil for that.
I have been using Lancome eye liner/eye shadow products for over 20 years because they are the only company that uses ingredients that do not cause redness and irritation to my eyes. For eyeliner, I have used Bobbi Brown and Mac. I prefer the Lancome Le Stylo Waterproof Liner because it is non-irritating, it glides on easily without any pull to sensitive eye skin. In other words, it glides on like butter. Truly waterproof in that I can dive in the pool and swim , come up and my makeup is still gorgeous. Holds up well to heat conditions, no smudging or disappearing from the eyes. I use it also because of the color palatte of the "prune" which is a deep plum that illuminates my blue eyes in a major way. Will always buy my Lancome Le Stylo Waterproof Eye Liner!!
This was an add on to a mascara purchase I made. Funny thing is I actually like the eye liner better then the mascara. Great coverage, accurate lines that stay all day. It can be tricky to remove even with eye makeup remover. I think this is one of the best eye liners I have used.
