I tried to buy 30 of these and was quoted a price of $12.99 each, free shipping from China. And yet they sell these from US stock for $10 each. You be the judge about what's going on there. I've purchased about 500 of these over the last 4-5 years and there is a roughly 2-4% dead-on-arrival rate. There are either soldering problems (shorts between I/O pins) or headers soldered incorrectly), bad headers (can't receive male headers), wrong female headers (one that was obviously different from the others that you couldn't plug pins into), or ones that you couldn't download code to at all. I have a box of at least 10 boards that never worked, and I've probably fixed the soldering or header problems on about 10 others). Having the option to buy from US Stock and paying more is good to have. Lesson -- buy 5% more than you need because you're almost guaranteed that if you get 25, one (+/- 1) won't work, and may not be repairable even if you have the skill to repair some soldering problems.Read full review

Have had a chance to test it with several sketches now, with no problems along the way! Great UNO clone! It does keep the same port(6) no matter what port it's added to, but that can be a good thing reprogramming on the fly.
